APIs for receive SMS / TXT
SMS4U provides number of methods to deliver received SMS / TXT to our customers. There are 2 common methods of receiving SMS / TXT messages, these are:
SMS / TXT to Email
This option will receive a message, log the message at TNZ and allow an Email your INBOX of the received TXT message.
You will need provide us an existing email address so we can email you with who it was from, time, and the actual message itself.
SMS / TXT to Web
This option will receive a message, log the message at TNZ and allow a POST to your site (POST or GET) of the received TXT message.
Your web server needs to have a script running to receive this posted information. The main variables of interest that we can post are:
- Userid (to advise it is TNZ posting to you)
- Password (to verify it is really TNZ posting to you)
- Receiving Cell Phone Number
- Sending Cell Phone Number
- TXT Message that was received
